Eligibility:

Ø Non-Chinese citizen in good health.

If an applicant of foreign nationality at the time of birth, whose parents or one parent is a Chinese citizen and has settled in a foreign country, would like to apply for undergraduate study in China as an international student, he/she must have at least 2 years of actual residence in a foreign country within the recent 4 years (before April 30, 2023) (9 months of actual residence in a foreign country in a year can be counted as one year. Subject to border entry and exit seal).

If a Chinese citizen applies for undergraduate study in China as a foreign student after immigrating to another country, he/she must hold a valid foreign passport or nationality certificate for more than 4 years (inclusive), and have lived abroad for more than 2 years in the recent 4 years (before April 30, 2023) (9 months in one year can be counted as one year. Subject to border entry and exit seal).

Ø Education background at high school level or above, with high school diploma.

Ø At least 17 years old.

Ø For Chinese-taught programs, a score of at least 180 points is required on the new HSK Level 5. Self-funded applicants who do not meet the requirements should apply for Chinese language training first; For English major programs and English-taught programs, you should be native speaker of English or come from countries with English as official language, otherwise provide valid English proficiency test certificates such as IELTS or TOFEL.
